Carly Nestler, ACMHC

I specialize in working with emerging adults and adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma-related concerns, identity and self-esteem, relational challenges, shame, ADHD and executive functioning differences, and questions related to faith or spirituality. I also welcome a wide range of clinical concerns and lived experiences—each person’s story deserves thoughtful care and attention.

My approach is grounded in a person-centered philosophy, meaning I prioritize authenticity, empathy, and genuine connection within the therapeutic relationship. I believe meaningful growth happens in a space where you feel safe, respected, and free from judgment. I strive to bring warmth, steadiness, and presence into each session so you can show up fully as yourself.

While I primarily draw from humanistic approaches, I also incorporate evidence-based tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), when helpful. I view each individual within the context of their relationships, communities, and broader social systems, recognizing how these influences shape personal experiences.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy stories in all forms—whether through a favorite show, movie, or book. I love my daily coffee (homemade or from a local spot), and while I enjoy exploring new places, I’m a homebody at heart. You’ll often find me baking, caring for plants, going for walks, enjoying a good meal, or spending time with family and friends.
