Millie Pfaff, ACMHC

My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins when we feel understood. I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions. I enjoy working alongside clients to explore patterns, build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and develop a better understanding of themselves. I strive to meet each person where they are and tailor therapy to their individual needs and goals.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you're unsure where to begin. You don't need to have everything figured out before getting started. Whether you're working through personal challenges, navigating relationship dynamics, or simply looking for a space to focus on yourself, I'd love the opportunity to walk alongside you.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, reading, and watching movies. As a foster and adoptive parent, I also have a personal appreciation for the many different ways families are formed and the experiences that shape them.

Life can be challenging, and sometimes having someone in your corner can make all the difference. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, understood, and accepted without judgment. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you can show up as you are, explore your experiences, and work toward the changes you want to make.

I work primarily with adults and couples, as well as some teens, navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. With 13 years of experience at Ogden High School and several years working with Utah Foster Care as a Cluster Facilitator and Retention Specialist, I bring a wealth of experience supporting individuals and families through a variety of life experiences and transitions. My background has given me a unique appreciation for the complexities of family relationships, personal growth, and the importance of feeling supported.
